Honors

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (Bachelor's)

Graduation Honors

Upon graduation, a student (with no repeated courses, no probationary period, and a record clear of any academic or disciplinary offenses) will qualify for University honors (which will appear on both the diploma and the transcript), as follows:

Cumulative GPA of 3.50-3.69:         Cum Laude
Cumulative GPA of 3.70-3.89:         Magna Cum Laude
Cumulative GPA of 3.90-4.00:         Summa Cum Laude

Only grades earned at the Holy Spirit University of Atlanta are computed in the determination of honors.

GRADUATE STUDENTS (Master's)

Graduation Honors

Upon graduation, a student (with no repeated courses, no probationary period, and a record clear of any academic or disciplinary offenses) will qualify for University honors (which will appear on both the diploma and the transcript), as follows:

Cumulative GPA of 3.50-3.69:         Cum Laude
Cumulative GPA of 3.70-3.89:         Magna Cum Laude
Cumulative GPA of 3.90-4.00:         Summa Cum Laude

To qualify for graduation honors, undergraduate students must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours at the Holy Spirit University of Atlanta; Graduate Students must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at the Holy Spirit University of Atlanta.
